The cases are CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum, this supplies strength to the case for the mounting and the gear train, it also acts as a very good heatsink for the motor and amplifier.

The DC2124T offers a metal geared, metal cased digital mini servo which has exceptional torque without sacrificing too much speed. This is an ideal servo for 3D planes or 450 size helicopters, would be particularly good on CCPM and flybarless systems.
