The cases are CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum, this supplies strength to the case for the mounting and the gear train, it also acts as a very good heatsink for the motor and amplifier.

The DC2611S offers a metal geared, metal cased digital servo that has excellent torque and is no slouch in the speed department either. This is a good all-round standard size servo that is perfect where high torque is required at a reasonable speed. Ideal uses includes nitro/gas cars, large aircraft, helicopters, gas powered boats and robots.
