This remote control shutter cable is specially designed to enable you to precisely control the operation of your Panasonic GH4 & GH3 cameras via your RC system. It's small size allows easy routing through even the tightest of spaces.

The remote shutter controller lets you control single trigger, continuos trigger, start/stop video and focus via a 3 way switch on your transmitter. In use, video or photography modes are selected via the mode dial on your camera. The Panasonoc GH3 & GH4 cameras do not support toggling between taking pictures and video recording via the remote shutter function. Once the required mode is selected the shutter controller allows either start/stop of the video function or single/continuous shutter operation in photography mode.

When used in conjunction with a 2-way switch on your transmitter, the RCD3017 controller features an inbuilt delay between the operation of the remote switch and shutter activation. This is essential to allow the camera to focus accurately.

If a 3-way switch is used, then the MIDDLE position will be neutral, the UP position is for shutter/video operation and DOWN for focusing only.
